Joint Worship at Charles Street A.M.E. Church 6.25.25

Who knew a 2.5 hour service could feel timeless! Ask any one of the many Village Church members who shared in a truly amazing worship experience with our Charles St. African-Methodist-Episcopal family on Sunday. The sanctuary was packed with people and energy. The music was moving (literally!), the combined choir inspired, the sermon an "event," and the communion liturgy holy as we danced down the aisles and knelt "at table" together. An abundant feast of food and fellowship greeted us afterwards. Words can't really capture the experience. We are truly "Better Together," and our 25-year relationship is growing strong. Alleluia!  ~Rev. Dr. Sarah Sarchet Butter, Senior Pastor
