Our 2024 All Church Welcome Sunday held at the Wellesley Campus kicked off our Season of Welcome and Wonder at Village Church. The service was joyfilled, as Rev. Pam Emslie describes "there were many surprises and gifts of joy for all of us: greeting one another again and making new friends; welcoming Carlos Aoun and Jade Hargrave into our Village Church leadership team; witnessing the baptism of sweet Edith Kounakawitch and seeing all those beautiful children come forward to witness Edith’s baptism; breathing in and out as we laid our burdens down during confession; receiving the Good News of our God’s welcome for all of us in Stacy’s sermon; being poured over with song from the choir loft on high; opening our hearts in prayer; and being completely surprised and delighted by Kristjon Imperio and Allen Steere sitting together at the piano – all four hands playing the keys with such joy"- if you missed it you can view the livestream here > And the fellowship lunch was no less joyful as this photo gallery shows in a story of pictures.
