Message from your Senior Pastor – Welcome Back to 10am Worship in Wellesley!
September 17, 2025
Hallelujah! I rejoice that we are going back to the Wellesley Sanctuary this Sunday! Per Kathy Schleyer and Mark Lenci who serve as liaisons with our amazing contractor, GreenerU:
“We are on track for the Sunday 10 am services to commence in Wellesley! This Sunday, 9/21, the Sanctuary doors and the lobby doors facing the graveyard are the access points. But note, the stairs from Washington Street will NOT be in use. Pedestrians will use the driveway to walk to the Sanctuary doors.
The entire main floor will all be accessible. No access to the second floor this week and not until the scaffolding/lift is removed from the stairwell closest to the graveyard. We are leaving the paper floor coverings in place for a few weeks, but they will be taped securely. That will really be the only obvious construction element indoors on the main floor (aside from the stairwell).”
I’m in awe that a project of this complexity is going so smoothly. Thank you Kathy, Mark, GreenerU, and Emilio for making it so!

We are simultaneously working to fund this transformational project and all of the priorities in the $4M Empowering the Future campaign— a huge thank you to all advance givers. We will enter the all-congregational phase in October, with the goal to bring both construction and fundraising to completion by October 26. With your prayers, patience and generosity, all things are possible!
