Village Church in Wellesley: Operations During Construction

10am Worship Returns to Wellesley Sept. 21st!
We’re so excited to be returning to Wellesley this Sunday, September 21st for an All-Church, 10:00 AM Worship Service, including Children’s Church, followed by fellowship at 11:15am.
Our livestream service will be at 10am from our Wellesley Campus >
5pm Weston Worship begins Sept. 28
9am Chapel Worship resumes in October
Office operations in Weston
Our church office operations will remain in Weston (130 Newton Street) through September as we continue wrapping up the installation of our geothermal HVAC system (Learn more >), repave the driveway and replant the the grass and shrubbery etc.

God is at work among us, leading us into a season of transformation and renewal. As we take a bold step toward sustainability with our new geothermal HVAC system, we’re also invited to embrace the blessings of change — worshiping, gathering, and growing in a new way.
The major construction work is scheduled to begin the week of May 19. During that week, the driveway will be shut down for drilling geothermal wells, though access to the building will still be possible from the Church Street side during the week of May 19. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, the Wellesley building and driveway will be completely inaccessible due to heavy construction. During this time, all church operations will take place at the Weston campus. We give thanks for the gift of our Weston Sanctuary, where we will worship and experience the warmth of our community and the steadfast presence of God in a new way.
If any of your church activities this summer involve the Wellesley church building or accessing stored materials in that space, please coordinate with the church staff (Emilio DelVecchio for the Wellesley building at facilities@wellesleyvillagechurch.org and Zach Roe for the Weston building at zach@interfaithcollaboration.org) in advance so alternative arrangements can be made. The point of contact for scheduling activities at Village Church in Weston throughout the summer is Zach Roe (zach@interfaithcollaboration.org).
